This Kossack Did An Amazing Thing

I just wanted to point out that one of our own, wmspringer, has done an unbelievable thing that I'm not aware any other kossack has done up to this point. He read this article about Governor Scott Walker trying to privatize hunting, and force hunters to pay out the nose to the tune of $2,000 to feed their families.

This kossack decided to do something about it, and he did. He registered and filed with the Government Accountability Board, and got documents notarized and sent in so he could raise attention to this very important issue by running ads on Facebook before the June 5th elections. He got a website up, called "Save WI Deer Hunting"and a donation page up on NationBuilder.

Another one of our friends here on Dailykos, 2laneIA, also got involved, and helped out wmspringer and I since we are both deaf, by making calls on our behalf, and communicating information back to us. She also wrote an action diary about this very important issue that ended up on the Recommended list, but it has fallen off.

I would like to ask you guys to help wmspringer, 2laneIA, and the many fighting badgers that are pushing back against the right-wing onslaught in Wisconsin. They may not have the millions that the Koch brothers do, but we have a goal of $800 that can be met by this community.

Once that goal of $800 is met, we will be running Facebook ads targeted towards hunters in Wisconsin that will expose Scott Walker's record on deer hunting, and help move a few crucial votes that way.
